  • Jim Glaub

    Jim Glaub

    Antiques Aficionado, Creative Powerhouse

Jim is not just a regular human, but a superhero with a heart of gold and a smile as bright as his famous brooch collection. Jim's the founder of Super Awesome Friends, a content-led digital agency for live entertainment and the arts. He's a recognized leader in innovative marketing, social media, web design, and video production for live entertainment. He's worked on over fifty Broadway shows– and brings his showstopping creative flair to everything he touches, especially his newest project: Black Walnut Farm.

But what truly sets Jim apart is his huge heart: he's made headlines since 2010 as the inspiring founder of Miracle on 22nd Street, the organization that's brought the true meaning of Christmas to the doorsteps of hundreds of families in need. His act of kindness, featured in The New York Times, The Today Show, and Good Morning America, sparked a movement of giving and generosity that continues to touch lives worldwide.

Fun fact about Jim: Once won $10,000 on The Price Is Right (by playing Plinko!)

Jim's most memorable wedding moment: When his friends declined to hire a DJ for their wedding reception (and their Spotify playlist was seriously snoozeville), Jim bravely jumped on the decks– DJ'ing the rest of the night. He knew he was a hit when his choice pick of Shania Twain's "Man, I Feel Like a Woman" had the dance floor packed with midwestern aunties faster than you can say, 'let's go girls….'

Jim's wedding cake flavor of choice: Skips the cake and goes straight to the banana cupcakes

Jim's favorite wedding song: "I Wanna Dance With Somebody/We Found Love by Whitney/Rihanna Remix”

  • Sarah Tracey

    Sarah Tracey

    Chief Tastemaker, Culture Conoisseur

A certified sommelier and globally-recognized lifestyle expert, Sarah is a curator of the delicious and delightful, and the undisputed ruler of all things lush and lovely. With her sparkling personality and quick wit, she's the life of the party and the queen of the tasting room. When she's not busy swirling, sniffing, and sipping her way through vineyards across the globe, Sarah can be found dropping knowledge bombs on her popular blog, The Lush Life, and as a contributor for Martha Stewart Living.

With 15 years of hospitality industry expertise under her belt and an eye for detail that can spot a smudge on a champagne flute from a mile away, Sarah is a force to be reckoned with. As a veteran Wine Director of Michelin-star restaurants and a Service Director and Event Operations Manager at City Winery New York, she's seen and done it all, from managing countless galas and weddings to cracking open more bottles of rosé than you can shake a corkscrew at. If you want to elevate your event to the next level, look no further than the one and only Sarah!

Our wedding couples will be treated to a private mixology session with Sarah to create their signature cocktails.

Fun fact about Sarah: Has a degree in music and sings in a retro girl group tribute band for fun

Sarah's most memorable wedding moment: As her sister's Maid of Honor, she serenaded the crowd with an Elvis song in lieu of a toast (when in doubt, say it with music!)

Sarah’s wedding cake flavor of choice: Lemon Elderflower Cake a la Harry and Megan

Favorite wedding song: "All Night Long" by Lionel Ritchie

  • Miss Lily

    Official Mascot, Prop-purrr-ty Manager, Groundskeeper

Known as one of the Premiere Barn Cats of the Hudson Valley, Miss Lily prides herself on keeping her home critter-free and staying entirely out of sight when guests are around. When Jim and Sarah purchased Black Walnut Farm, they discovered there was already a long-term tenant living in the barn– and as eviction proceedings are highly complicated in matters such as this, Miss Lily was not only permitted to stay, but she made friends with her new humans and has become a loving, cherished member of the family.

She spends her days sunbathing in the rose garden, chasing chipmunks, and slurping up the little bowls of cream Jim and Sarah leave out for her sometimes.

Fun fact about Miss Lily: May actually be the current incarnation of a Colonial Woman who has lived at the farm for 275 years

Miss Lily's favorite wedding moment: When everyone goes home, and she has her barn all to herself again

Miss Lily’s wedding cake flavor of choice: A purr-fectly frosted mice cream cake!

Miss Lily's favorite wedding song: "Purrple Rain" by Purrince, tied with "This Will Be (an Ev-FUR-lasting Love)" by Natalie Cole
